Laura Swart
Laura Swart has taught academic writing to post-secondary students for over twenty years, encouraging them to find and raise their writing voices. Two of her books, Cut it Out and Say Something, help other writers to create powerful sentences and essays. As a novelist and playwright, she was shortlisted for the ReLit Award in 2018, and her stories about refugees have been seen on the stage. Her degrees and research in education, philosophy, and theology have shaped her pedagogy, her thinking, and her writing.
